Business Process Analyst
3 month contract (with the view to extend) for a Business Process Analyst – This is working for a large public sector client based in Birmingham. This is inside ir35 and paying up to £474.99 PAYE or between £500-585 umbrella.
To support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the ERP System. Provide support and advice to the organisation on development of a process approach to the ERP system end to end processes.
The quality and document control function has particular responsibilities for:
Developing, maintaining and implementing the client’s Ltd Management ERP System;
Maintain external Management System Certification to BS EN ISO 9001- Quality Management System;
Managing the compliance and contract audit processes;
The development of processes for the management and provision of assurance;
Establishing the requirements for quality management in the contracts;
Provision of Quality Assurance support for projects and programmes (e.g. ERP, Phase One, Phase Two, Enabling Works, Main Works, and Ground Investigation etc.);
Implementing Continuous Improvement across all the functions.
The implementation and operation of Enterprise Bridge (eB) the company’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Implementing suitable quality management tools/systems to support the delivery of Projects and programmes.
Support the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of process and procedures within the client’s management ERP system.
Conduct interviews with stakeholders to decompress as is process maps including mapping cross functional relationships.
Analysing ‘as-is’ processes and building ‘to-be’ process maps that identify opportunities for streaming.
Collaborating with area subject matter experts to discover, design, assess and document business process in an optimal manner.
Identify opportunities to automate processes with the aim to leverage efficiencies.
Utilise quality management tools and techniques to promote continuous improvements and quality awareness throughout the company.
Good communication skills including report writing and the ability to interface with staff across all levels of the project from Director downwards
Expert level competency in Microsoft Visio
Knowledge and experience in lean six sigma tools and techniques.
Educated to degree, HND or HNC level (or an equivalent), preferably in an engineering or construction related subject
Some practical knowledge and expertise in the implementation and on-going development of management systems, based on recognised standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or BS OHSAS 18001
Strong experience in the development of cross functional processes within a complex environment and the implementation of process improvement.
The job holder will be responsible for delivering cross functional process maps for specific areas of the business. This will involve engagement with staff at all levels; identification of duplication and clashes; interfaces across the organisation and the facilitation of workshops.
