Excipion have a fantastic opportunity to be involved with a dynamic software solutions company based in Bournemouth. The company are experiencing a period of growth and are looking to expand their development team.

The ideal candidate will need strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team and highly motivated.

This role would suit an ambitious graduate looking to expand their skills. Someone from the gaming industry looking for a new challenge would also be highly desirable.

The position offers the opportunity to be involved with a busy and productive team creating 3D Simulations for the Oil and Gas Industry.

Key responsibilities:
Implementation of new 3D graphics applications in C# and Unity
Maintenance of existing 3D graphics applications in C++ and OpenGL
Planning and developing new features from requirements specifications
Installation, configuration and testing of software on new and existing simulators
Occasional R&D and demo work; evaluation of new technologies

Key Skills

  • Experience with C# or C++
  • Unity or Unreal Engine development experience
  • Working knowledge of 3D programming and related mathematics highly desirable

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with OpenGL or DirectX
  • Experience with source control
  • Network programming experience
