Process Support Officer

Process Support Officer – Full Time Contract – Liverpool – £15 p/h Umbrella

STR are seeking an experienced Process Support Officer to join a team in Liverpool to support all aspects of the commercial relationship between the council and its suppliers.

Your job will involve:
– Working and developing key suppliers
– Purchasing arrangements
– Providing a competitive & customer focussed service
– Market research
– Processing procurement requests

Candidates will have/be:
– Up to date procurement experience
– Purchasing experience
– CIPS Level 4 Qualified
– Knowledge of E-procurement systems and tools

The right candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Good communication skills and experience working part of a large team
Proactive working and ability to influence others
Knowledge of best practice
Working in an ethical, legal and accountable manner and working in line with best practice
