Senior Production Planner Enfield – £42,000 Permanent

Excipion is currently recruiting a Senior Production Planner for a global leading manufacturing business based in Enfield that are going through a growth period.

The Senior Production Planner is responsible for leading the production control team to deliver outstanding customer service, optimization of manufacturing processes and reduction in inventory as well as developing, implementing and driving through business improvement and change. This hands on role will be required to ensure that the planning, control and administrative activities are fulfilled in a timely manner.

Duties:

Plan and control the refining manufacturing production operations.
Design, specify, develop and implement production control process improvements in collaboration with the Advanced supply chain team.
Develop the production control team, ensuring that they are working closely with manufacturing and the wider supply chain team.
Develop and maintain standard work and standard operations for the production control operations.
Support LEAN implementation in the operational area to deliver improvements in culture.
Use of LEAN tools such as VSM, Root Cause Problem solving etc to deliver efficiencies in the Manufacturing areas.

The successful candidate will ideally come from a manufacturing background, you will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of production planning and Supply Chain Improvement processes, ISO9001 and ISO18001. Knowledge of ERP business systems, ideally SAP and how to interface with the business and an ability to provide innovative solutions to problems are desirable.

This position is likely to suit a Senior Production Planner or Production Scheduler or Production Planner or Materials Planner or Inventory Planner or Supply Chain Scheduler or Demand Scheduler or Inventory Scheduler.
